Accommodation for equestrian professionals, steps from the stables
For riders, grooms, trainers and support teams. We deliver a fully serviced American fifth wheel to the showground or the yard, position it near the stable block, and collect it when the season moves on.
Steps from the stables.
Positioned near the stable block, by arrangement with the organiser.
Built for 4am starts.
A king bed, a residential shower and heating that works in April.
The whole team, together.
Sleeps 4 to 8 depending on the unit: riders, grooms and trainers in one place.
The season does not care where you slept
Show days start before dawn and end after the last stable check. A hotel thirty minutes from the showground takes its share of both.
- A 4am stable start that begins in a hotel car park.
- Late-night checks, then a drive away from your horses.
- Owners and sponsors visiting, with nowhere on site to host them.
None of it is how you planned the season.
One unit, the whole operation
Around 400 square feet with the slide-outs open, configured for however your team runs.

Major competitions.
Multi-day and multi-week hire at Badminton, Burghley, Hickstead, Blenheim and Royal Windsor.
Training centres and yards.
Extended stays for riders, working pupils and seasonal staff.
Groom and yard staff housing.
On-site quarters that help a yard keep good people.
A team base on the circuit.
Riders, grooms, coaches, vets and farriers, housed at each venue.
We know the horses come first, before dawn and last thing at night, and that where you sleep decides how the season feels.

Positioned near stable blocks, coordinated with show organisers

Built around stable hours
Equestrian professionals keep hours that hotels are not built for. Grooms start before five, riders walk courses at dawn, and the last stable check finishes long after the showground has emptied. We hire out American fifth wheels as accommodation for equestrian professionals at UK shows, three-day events and training yards, positioned by arrangement with the organiser so you are steps from the stable block rather than a drive from it. Yards book the same unit as accommodation for grooms at horse shows, and as seasonal staff quarters when good people are hard to keep. One unit sleeps 4 to 8 depending on the unit across two bedrooms, with a king bed for the rider or head groom, a residential shower, a full kitchen for managing the team’s nutrition, and storage for competition clothing and equipment. As a horsebox living alternative it is 41ft of accommodation instead of a compartment over the cab, which gives the lorry back to the horses and the kit. Ducted heating covers the early spring eventing season. Air conditioning covers the summer shows. We deliver for single fixtures such as Badminton, Burghley, Hickstead and Royal Windsor, for extended stays at training centres and competition yards, and for whole seasons, moving with your calendar from venue to venue. Season long RV hire for eventing and showjumping carries its own rates, and the booking flexes when qualification changes your plans. Our equestrian event accommodation service covers owners and spectators; this page is for the people who work the season. Tell us your calendar and we will tell you what fits.
What riders and teams say
Using a Stay Go fifth wheel for Badminton and Burghley transformed our three-day event experience. Having luxury accommodation right on site meant quality rest between early stable starts and late-night horse checks. Absolutely worth it for the comfort and convenience.
We accommodated our entire competition team – two riders and three grooms – in one fifth wheel for Royal Windsor. The space was incredible, everyone was comfortable, and having proper cooking facilities meant we could manage nutrition properly. So much better than hotel juggling.
Common questions
Can you position the unit near our stables?
Usually, yes. Many major UK showgrounds take RV parking adjacent to stable blocks and competitor areas, and we coordinate positioning with the organiser before the event.
Is this an alternative to sleeping in the horsebox living?
Yes, and it is the reason most yards call us. Horsebox living is designed around the horses, which leaves the people with a bed over the cab and a shower they queue for. The fifth wheel stands separately at 41ft long and 8ft wide, opening to around 400 sq ft on the slide-outs, with two bedrooms, a plumbed residential shower and a full kitchen. Your lorry goes back to carrying horses, tack and feed.
Do you hire out groom accommodation for multi-day shows?
Yes. Groom and support staff accommodation is a large part of what we do. The unit sleeps 4 to 8 depending on the unit, sits near the stable block by arrangement with the organiser, and stays for as many days as the show runs. Riders and grooms can share it, or a yard can take it for staff alone.
Can we keep it for the whole season?
Yes. Seasonal hire covers consecutive fixtures, and we move the unit from venue to venue with your calendar. Seasonal and multi-event rates apply.
What happens if qualification changes our plans?
The booking flexes. Competition schedules change, and we adapt dates and venues with you rather than holding you to the original plan.
Does it cope with early season weather?
Yes. Ducted heating covers the spring eventing season and air conditioning covers the summer shows. The unit runs on mains power where the venue provides it and is generator compatible where it does not.
What does the showground have to provide?
Ground that will take 41ft by 8ft plus the slide-outs, the steps and room for our tow vehicle to turn. Mains power, water and waste if the venue runs them; where it does not, we bring a generator sized to run everything including the air conditioning, with fuel for the whole hire, and the tanks hold several days. Whatever pass or pitch allocation the organiser requires, we arrange it as part of the booking.
