We know that driving in and out each day costs you the event you paid to attend, and that arriving already tired changes how the whole weekend goes.
The fleet is the Cedar Creek Silverback, the Jayco Northpoint, the Wildwood Heritage Glen and the Fifth Wheel Co Dreamseeker: slide-outs opening up to around 400 sq ft, sleeps 4 to 8 depending on the unit, with a king bed, a residential shower, air conditioning and central heating. Transport, siting, servicing and collection are handled in-house from our base in the Cotswolds.
The 2026 edition
Our fifth wheels stood on the estate for the 2026 Festival, sited before the gates opened and serviced through the four days. The guests staying in them had a good Festival, and so did we. With the 2027 dates now confirmed for 15 to 18 July, units are already being reserved.

The Festival of Speed, without the commute
The Festival of Speed returns on 15 to 18 July 2027, four days of running machinery in the grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex, all of it arranged around the 1.16 mile hill climb that rises through the estate. Grand Prix cars from every era share the hill with current Formula 1 machinery, hypercars, rally cars and motorcycles, while the paddocks, the Forest Rally Stage and the Central Feature fill the rest of the grounds. General ticket sale opens in November 2026, and the pattern of the event repeats every year: long days, big crowds, and Sussex lanes that fill early and empty slowly. Goodwood Festival of Speed accommodation follows the same pattern. Camping on the estate is claimed well in advance, and the nearest hotels sit thirty to sixty minutes from the gate.

How close is the accommodation to the hill climb?
A few minutes on foot. The RV area sits inside the estate, so you reach the paddocks and the 1.16 mile hill climb without touching the access roads.

Early. Positions go quickly, many to people who stayed the previous year, and general ticket sale opens in November 2026. We take reservations ahead of it.
