We know that driving in and out each day costs you the event you paid to attend, and that arriving already tired changes how the whole weekend goes.
The fleet is the Cedar Creek Silverback, the Jayco Northpoint, the Wildwood Heritage Glen and the Fifth Wheel Co Dreamseeker: slide-outs opening up to around 400 sq ft, sleeps 4 to 8 depending on the unit, with a king bed, a residential shower, air conditioning and central heating. Transport, siting, servicing and collection are handled in-house from our base in the Cotswolds.
The 2026 edition
Stay Go Premium was inside the circuit for the 2026 Grand Prix, units sited and serviced before first practice on the Friday. The weekend ran well, and the guests who stayed with us told us so afterwards. Units for the 2027 race are being reserved now, ahead of the dates being announced.

The Grand Prix, without the commute
Silverstone has run the British Grand Prix since the first round of the World Championship in 1950, and it still draws the largest sporting crowd in the country, more than 150,000 across the weekend. Dates for the 2027 race have not been announced yet: Formula 1 publishes its calendar in the autumn, and Silverstone currently lists the Grand Prix with the date to be confirmed, with general tickets expected on sale from September 2026. The racing itself needs no confirmation. Copse, Maggotts, Becketts and Stowe remain among the fastest corners the championship visits, and the cars still pass 200mph on the Hangar Straight.
American RV hire at Silverstone takes the commute out of that weekend. Once the dates land, we deliver a fifth wheel to the official RV area inside the circuit, level it, connect the water and power, and hand it over made up. Your trackside base runs to around 400 square feet with the slide-outs open: a king bed, a residential shower, a working kitchen and beds for up to 8, with somewhere private for guests between sessions. Anyone who has priced up motorhome hire for the British Grand Prix will notice what is missing here, namely the van, the towing and the setup. Friday practice starts while the A43 is still queueing, and after the podium you walk back rather than sitting in the car parks.
British Grand Prix accommodation comes down to the same few options every year. Hotels near the circuit book out months ahead and still leave you the drive. Silverstone F1 camping puts you in the right field, and Silverstone glamping softens it, but this is the step above both: a solid bedroom wall, your own bathroom and a kitchen that cooks, still inside the circuit. Is there Silverstone accommodation within walking distance of the circuit?
Ours stands inside it. The unit is sited in the official RV area at Silverstone, so the grandstands and the fan zones are a walk rather than a drive. Accommodation near Silverstone circuit is thin on the ground for Grand Prix weekend: the hotels go months ahead and what is left sits a long way down the A43. Three to six months is the usual lead time for this race.
Can you deliver to Silverstone Woodlands?
Tell us which camping area your tickets cover and we confirm it before you book. Silverstone Woodlands and the circuit’s other official campsites each set their own rules on unit size and on who may site a vehicle there, so the pitch is agreed with the organiser rather than assumed. Our American fifth wheels measure 41ft long and 8ft wide with the slide-outs in, and the compact Dreamseeker fits pitches the big pair cannot.
Do I need a live-in vehicle pass at Silverstone?
You do, and it goes through us rather than you. Silverstone sets where live-in vehicles may stand across the Grand Prix weekend, and we hold that conversation with the circuit while your booking is being confirmed. By the time you set off, the pitch and the pass are done.
