Four days deserve a better base
Blenheim Palace International draws more than 80,000 people to one Oxfordshire park each September. Most of them drive in and out every day, four days running.
- A Saturday that starts at the lake crossing should not begin with an hour in the car.
- Children who need food and rest at three o’clock, and only a car park to offer them.
- Owners and guests hosted somewhere you would rather they had not seen.
Stay where the sport is
We know that driving in and out each day costs you the event you paid to attend, and that arriving already tired changes how the whole weekend goes.

Blenheim 2027, from inside the gates
Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials brings CCI4*-L eventing to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, each September. More than 80,000 people come for four days of it: dressage on Thursday and Friday, a Saturday cross-country course of over 30 fences through Capability Brown’s parkland with the best viewing at the lake crossing, then Sunday’s showjumping in front of the palace facade. Around the sport sit more than 200 trade stands, falconry and vintage car displays, dog shows and children’s areas, which is why so many families choose Blenheim as a first event. Accommodation at the Blenheim horse trials usually means the daily drive through Oxfordshire; luxury RV hire at Blenheim keeps all of it within walking distance instead. We deliver an American fifth wheel to the parkland, sited and connected before Thursday’s first test, and collect it after the final showjumping round. Slide-outs take the living space out to roughly 400 sq ft. There is a king bed in the master, a bathroom with a residential shower, a kitchen with a hob, oven and full-size fridge freezer, and beds for up to 8, so children can nap, eat and sleep to their own clock while the sport carries on outside. September evenings in Oxfordshire cool quickly. Central heating deals with that. See our equestrian event accommodation page for the rest of the season, or check availability for Blenheim 2027 now.
Common questions
What does it cost to hire an RV for Blenheim 2027?
Starting from £2,000 plus delivery. Send us the dates and your party size and we come back with one number covering delivery, siting, connection, servicing and collection.
Where can you stay at Blenheim Palace Horse Trials?
In the parkland, if you hire a unit rather than book a room. More than 80,000 people come to the estate across four September days, and most of them drive in and out again. We deliver a fifth wheel before Thursday’s first test, site and connect it with the organiser’s agreement, and tow it away once Sunday’s showjumping has finished.
Is there somewhere for children to rest during the day?
That is one of the better reasons to have one at Blenheim. Children get a bedroom, a sofa and a bathroom a short walk from the lake crossing, instead of the back of a car at three in the afternoon. Meals run to your schedule off a hob, an oven and a full-size fridge freezer. The unit sleeps 4 to 8 depending on the unit in total, so grandparents fit as easily as toddlers.
